Further details:

+ What to expect for the first session?

The first consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and clarify what you’re hoping to change through therapy. It allows me to check that my skills align with your needs and that there are no contraindications to psychotherapy.
Most of the session will be a conversation where you can share the difficulties you’re experiencing. I will then provide a brief overview of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and explain how we might work together moving forward.

+ What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the session without any fees. Beyond that, the reserved session will be charged, as it cannot be reallocated. Exceptions may be made in cases of exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious accident). This does not include unexpected work or transportation issues.

+ Is online therapy less effective?

There is now scientific consensus that psychotherapy is equally effective whether conducted in person or remotely. In my practice, I have also found that video sessions remain just as interactive, engaging, and impactful as face-to-face meetings.

+ What are the contraindications for online therapy?

They are the same as with in-person therapy. You need not to be in a state of acute distress, such as a suicidal crisis. In case of an emergency, I strongly encourage you to go to the nearest Emergency Room service, or to contact emergency services by calling 15.
